Instances have been brought to the notice of Management of Chennai
Port Trust that certain persons have issued fake interview call letters to
some persons purportedly for various posts in Chennai Port Trust.
Public is hereby informed that recruitment for all the posts in Chennai
Port Trust, (an autonomous body under Ministry of Port, Shipping and
Waterways), is governed by the Recruitment Rules, under which, vacan-
cies get duly notified / advertised before any recruitment.
It is furtherinformed that public shall not be misled by such fake interview
call letters / appointment letters and those who indulge in such fraudulent
and deceitful activities will be liable for stringent action as per law.
All vacancies / Recruitments will be hosted in our website
www.chennaiport.gov.in. Publicare requested to access the above web-
site for any details and avoid such cheating by fraudulent persons.
Chennai Port Trust will not be responsible for any loss or damage in
any form suffered by the applicants due to the false information provided
by such fraudulent and deceitful persons.
